Walt Disney... =)

Walter Elias Disney (5th December 1901 - 15th December 1966) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon and philanthropist. He is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment in the 20th century.

Among the many things disney created, he created the first animated feature length film; Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Cottrell, 1937), the first animated film with synchronized sound;  Steamboat Willie (Iwerks, 1928), and he also created the first colour cartoon; Flowers and Trees (Gillett, 1932). Disney was also one of the first people to think of principles of animation, he came up with 12. However, these are mostly used for drawn animation. Not all of these are needed with claymation, and so generally only 7 are used.
